COVID-19 Risk Assessment. Hounslow Housing HRA Community Venues.

The following tools are intended to support Premises Managers/Community Centre Organisers in order to keep people safe when they return to the centres and to ensure the buildings are safe for use. The guidance follows the latest advice from the Government, NHS and Public Health England.
· Manager James Montgomery has prepared a simple Risk Assessment Feed-back form for Community Venue Managers/Organisers to complete and return. This will be used to assess the safe re-opening of community venues, identify and action any issues and confirm a date for opening.
· Community Facility Co-ordinator has provided: a risk assessment checklist to assist in identifying issues, information and guidance to support in preparing for the re-opening of HRA Community Venues, posters for handwashing. Tools have been provided by Hounslow Facilities Management team, Community Partnership and NVCO.
· The current government guidance is clear, staff (paid or voluntary) should continue to work from home if possible. Staff can go into the premises to work but activities should be assessed in line with the latest COVID-19 prevention methods.
· Please note all information in this pack is correct at the time of writing. An important thing to remember is the situation regarding COVID-19 is changing daily and government advice is updating on a regular basis. Therefore, completed inspections and risk assessments will need to be reviewed and updated on a regular basis to reflect the changes.
