Hate Crime Poster Competition
Young people to design a poster showing why it’s not ok to hate someone because of their race, faith, disability, gender identity or sexual orientation.
The competition will run until 17th December 2018, the winner will receive Amazon vouchers and their poster will be used across the borough to raise awareness of Hate Crime.
Hate Crime Small Grants
Small Grants funds which Voluntary and Community Sector partners can apply to, to hold their own events links with raising awareness about hate crime and/or challenging prejudice and discrimination. contact Keryn Jalli (above)
Community Engagement
Hounslow’s Transport Police Team will be at transport hubs throughout the borough during the week speaking with residents about hate crime and distributing Hounslow’s Hate Crime leaflets to raise awareness about how to report hate crime and the local support services available.
The Community Safety Team will be delivering Hate Crime drop-ins at the following locations:
