HCN Executive Board meetings in 2017:
Wednesday 13th September, 10 – 12 , Can Mezzanine, Conference Room A & B
Tuesday 14th November, 10 – 12, Can Mezzanine, Conference Room A & B
Hounslow Community Network is governed by an Executive Board in line with the HCN Constitution.
The Executive Board is made up of 24 places, 12 of which are earmarked for VCS forums and 12 for group (individual) rep places. Of the 12 group rep places, 50% (i.e. 6 places) are awarded to small VCS groups employing the equivalent of up to 1 full-time staff member (35hrs). This ensures that small VCS organisations will have a place on the Executive Board and keep HCN as open as possible to the wider VCS of Hounslow.
Following elections at the 2015 HCN Annual Conference the membership of the Executive Board is as below:
Debbie Brenner (Chair)
Debbie has been active in the Hounslow voluntary and community sector for over 30 years and for 20 years was the CEO of Owl Housing, a large local provider of services for people with learning difficulties. Debbie sits on the Hounslow Safer Neighbourhood Board, the Hate Crime Prevention Panel and the London Scrutiny Panel for the Crown Prosecution Service.
Henry Gewanter (Vice Chair)
Henry is extremely active in his local community as a member of both Friends of Chiswick Health Centre and Chiswick Horticultural and Allotment Society. As well as being Vice Chair of HCN, Henry is also Chair of the Hounslow Health and Social Care Forum.
Beverley Fyfe (Vice Chair)
Beverley is currently Chief Executive at Age UK Hounslow, sits on the Dementia Steering Group and has extensive links with a number of other VCS organisations.
